The Fairie Festival is FULL of Fairies, Music, Dancing, Art and Crafts, Fairies, Food, Nature and Environmental Info, Costumes, Wings, Fairies, Fairies, and MORE FAIRIES! This Festival is chock full of all things Fairie. Come in costume- or not- if you decide you want to dress up after arriving, there are plenty of artists vending their original cotumes and costume accessories- even WINGS! 2nd Annual Maryland Faerie Festival

The Chesapeake Pagan Community (CPC) has, with the support of the Spoutwood Farm Fairies, started their own Festival! I attended and vended at their 1st annual MD Faerie Festival and can't wait for next year! The Festival takes place at the 4H Center in Upper Marlboro, MD on May 20 and 21, 2006. They had music, dancing, a may pole dance, storytelling, activities for the kids, food, a Greenman Parade, and MUCH MORE! The Labyrinth of Jareth

Fairie Tea Party at The Studio

On Saturday July 16, 2005 at The Studio and Art Bar 38 North Beaver Street York, PA, Posie the Fairy will join The Studio's Resident Faeries in hosting a fun filled Fairie Tea Party in the Secret Garden Courtyard! Posie the Fairy will serve Tea and a Fairy Snack, give Fairy Blessings, Tell Fairy Stories, and Teach you to make Fairy Dust. Face painting by Una the Faerie of Aerie Light. Yorkfest In 2004 for the Yorkfest (formerly River Walk Artfest), I had my body painted by local artist Brett Greiman, the winner of the Yorkfest juried art exhibition at Yorkarts. The painting took place on the sidewalk outside The Studio at Central Market House, 44 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA. The theme for the painting was the Pink Floyd song "Learning to fly". A favorite performer from the Spoutwood Farm Fairie Festival, Maugie, played the song for us as I was painted! I can't wait to do it again! As soon as we get dates arranged to do it again- I'll post them.

The Mother Earth Harvest Faire I will again be vending at the (2nd Annual) Mother Earth Harvest Faire at Spoutwood Farm, to be held on October 1st and 2nd, 2005. The Farm is located near Glen Rock, PA. The Faire centers around the Earth- and protecting her in many forms. There are groups promoting recycling, humanure composting, natural building, and more. Last year there were workshops on many different aspects of nature. AS always the grounds were filled with Food, Nature Craft Artisans and Artists, Live Music, Activities for the Kiddies, and MORE!!
